Baker Ross are currently recruiting for caring, resilient and dedicated Children''s Residential Support Workers to join one of our clients Residential homes. You will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural challenges and mental health difficulties. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, consistent care tailored to each child''s individual care planBuild safe, trusting relationships and encourage emotional development and independenceSupport daily routines including meals, education, some personal care, leisure and bedtimeUse positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate challenging situationsMaintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and review meetingsWork collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies What our client is looking forExperience working with children or young people (care, education, or healthcare settings)Compassionate, patient and emotionally resilientUnderstanding of autism, learning disabilities and trauma-informed care (training provided if needed)Strong ..... full job details .....
