SEN Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 9 student with SEN in the Northallerton area. We''re looking for an experienced SEN TA who has previously supported students with SEN, and are able to provide a safe, supportive learning environment to a student disengaged from mainstream education. The Opportunity Working as a 2:1 alongside a Tutor, you will be supporting the teaching of literacy, numeracy and supporting with life skills including confidence building and supporting their Special Educational Needs. This particular student has SEN needs including Cerebral Palsy, ASD, Epilepsy, Dystonia and Anxiety disorder. With this in mind, the successful SEN TA will have a varied skillset across complex SEN to be able to fully support this student. One of your aims will be to support the pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine and continue their educational development within the home and to build the students confidence to later access the community. Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression of this student by asking you to submit weekly reports.
