This is a hands on role with a strong focus on Purchase Ledger, ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, keeping things organised, and making an immediate impact in a busy environment.With an immediate start available, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team within a fast-paced SME.About the RoleYou''ll be supporting the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on Purchase Ledger processing, alongside broader accounts support.Key duties will include:Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices, reconciliations, and query resolutionSupplier statement reconciliations and managing discrepanciesSupporting payment runs and maintaining accurate recordsDaily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsRaising sales invoices and supporting receivables where neededAssisting with cash collection and aged debt managementSupporting month-end processes and reconciliationsLiaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queriesProviding general support across the finance functionAbout YouWe''re looking for someone who is confident, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.You''ll ideally have:Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger roleStrong attention to detail and good numerical skillsIntermediate Excel skillsAbility to manage workload and prioritise effectivelyConfident communication skills and ability to resolve queriesAdditional InformationMonday to Friday (37.5 hours per ..... full job details .....
