Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager - Work Winning / Bids

We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain professional to support major civil engineering and infrastructure tenders, taking procurement activity from the initial client tender stage through to successful award and project mobilisation. This is a key work-winning position, working closely with bid, estimating, commercial and operational teams to develop procurement strategies, engage the supply chain and secure competitive, commercially robust solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong experience of bid-stage procurement within civil engineering or infrastructure, combined with excellent supplier management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Key Responsibilities Lead and support procurement activity throughout the pre-construction and work-winning process, from client tender through to project mobilisation. Develop project-specific procurement and supply chain strategies alongside bid and estimating teams. Identify, engage and evaluate appropriate subcontractors and suppliers. Manage tendering exercises and supplier selection using electronic procurement platforms such as Jaggaer and SourceDogg. Support estimating teams with subcontractor and supplier quotations, market intelligence and price build-ups. Carry bid-stage procurement intelligence through into delivery following successful project award.
