Care and Support Assistant - Southwark - Full-time - September Start

Remedy Education are looking for a caring and committed Care and Support Assistant to join a SEN school in Southwark from September. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting students with a range of physical and learning needs, including those requiring personal care.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting students with personal care, feeding, and mobility

• Assisting in the classroom and during transitions around the school

• Working closely with teachers and therapists to meet individual care plans

• Promoting a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all pupils

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in a school, care or healthcare setting

• Be comfortable with personal care duties

• Have a calm, patient and proactive attitude

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
