Our client, a leading provider in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a Certifying B1 Licensed Engineer/Team Lead to join their MRO facility in Hampshire on a permanent basis. The B1 Licensed Engineer/Team Lead will support the Management Team by ensuring maintenance activities meet required standards in accordance with company procedures, regulatory airworthiness, design, and quality requirements. This role involves meeting the agreed company/customer requirements and programme plans.Key Responsibilities:Supervision of up to 6 Technicians and 2 ApprenticesCertify modification and maintenance work within company authorisationCarry out aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical systems and structures according to approved dataEmbodiment of aircraft mechanical modifications in accordance with approved dataFault finding of defects and rectifying them as per the Aircraft Maintenance Manual and other approved dataJob Requirements:CAA Part-66 B1 Maintenance LicenseCAA Part-147 BN2T or BN2B type course (desirable, but not essential) - Relevant type course training will be providedAircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalentExperience working in a similar role on light utility, unpressurised aircraftFault identification, isolation, and rectification capabilitiesBase Maintenance experience, preferably with modification or structural repair experienceExperience working on light turbo-prop fixed-wing aircraftKey Skills:Excellent written and verbal ..... full job details .....
