Interview witnesses and victims, take statements, and assess their reliability for court cases. Manage CCTV evidence, conduct house-to-house inquiries, and provide court evidence when needed. Conduct research and write reports to support investigations. Support victims and witnesses by providing case updates and guidance. Handle evidence securely, including hazardous materials, and ensure proper documentation. Stay updated on relevant laws and policies to ensure high-quality investigations. Communicate effectively with social care to support child protection and joint actions. Perform safeguarding actions to protect victims, witnesses, and suspects. Person Specifications Must Have Full clean UK driving license. ABE (Achieving Best Evidence) training. High flexibility, motivation, and excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritize work, handle pressure, and meet deadlines. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. High integrity due to handling confidential material.
