ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE We are proud to be working with a leading packaging manufacturer in Telford, Shropshire who are seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team, the basic salary is paying up to £45,000 per annum working day shifts (42 hours per week), but there are other allowances and call out rotas which will boost your potential opportunities to earn more money.The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone with a background within the Packaging, Print or Food Manufacturing sector, but they would consider people from other industries should you have the relevant experience.We are looking for someone who has previous PLC fault finding experience (preferably with Siemens S5 or S7), PLC programming experience would be highly advantageous.What You Will Do: Provide engineering support for machinery breakdown repairs, maintenance, and development of manufacturing operations.Assess, repair, maintain, and improve machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Drive forward engineering projects, from initial requirements assessment through to successful completion.Deliver structured reports and solutions to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights.Support plant efficiency, safety, and product quality initiatives under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.Maintain engineering workshop standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.Collaborate ..... full job details .....
