A well-regarded, Ofsted-rated andldquo;Goodandrdquo; primary school near Fareham is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to work with children who have complex needs. This is a full-time role starting in September, with the potential to become permanent.

Pupils are well-behaved, happy, and take pride in their learning. Staff work closely together to support every child and maintain a positive school culture.

The Role:

andnbsp;This role involves supporting pupils with complex needs, including those with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other learning or developmental challenges. Youandrsquo;ll work both one-to-one and within the classroom, helping children access learning and supporting the wider class environment. Collaboration with teachers and other support staff is key.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For Weandrsquo;re keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience supporting children with complex needs
• Are confident working within a classroom setting
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Are patient, adaptable and responsive to individual pupil needs
• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 andndash; desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with complex needs
• Assist with classroom routines and learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Support small group work and individual interventions
• Work closely with teaching staff and contribute to wider school life
