Electrical Design Engineer

I''m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business specialising in automation and control systems, who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on technically challenging automation projects from concept through to completion, alongside a collaborative team of experienced engineers.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality electrical designs and documentation for bespoke automation projects. You''ll work closely with the wider engineering team to develop innovative solutions for customers across the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

• 5-7 years'' experience in Electrical Design Engineering

• Strong working knowledge of EPLAN (essential)

• Experience using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical

• Previous experience within the automotive, automation, or special purpose machinery industry

• Ability to produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts

• Understanding of control systems and electrical design standards

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Full right to work in the UK

• Salary up to -55,000 DOE

• Paid overtime

• Office-based role in Buckinghamshire with some hybrid working flexibility
