Job purpose: Our client are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive commercial excellence, contract governance and profitability across the business. This is a key leadership role focused on bid management, customer contract negotiation, commercial risk management and margin improvement. Main Duties Lead commercial management of customer contracts throughout their lifecycle. Manage commercial input into bids, tenders and customer proposals. Review, negotiate and manage customer legal contracts and commercial terms. Drive margin improvement and profitability initiatives across the business. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Support operational teams with pricing, change management and contract performance. Develop commercial reporting and KPI dashboards. Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Annual margin improvement and profitability growth. Bid win rate performance. 100% governance and review of customer contracts. Reduction in commercial risk exposure. Delivery of cost-saving and value improvement initiatives. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Professional Qualities Proven experience of minimum 5 years as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Lead.
