SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SchoolSouth Sheffield November 2026 StartAre you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children?We are working in partnership with a welcoming Trust of primary schools in South Sheffield to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2026.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them to thrive both academically and socially in a nurturing school environment.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Support children with their learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.Help create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs and abilities.Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within a primary school setting.Is patient, empathetic, proactive and resilient.Has a good understanding of inclusive education and individual learning needs.Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Previous experience supporting ..... full job details .....
