Assembly Operatives/Cable Assemblers required to work for manufacturing company based in St. Albans

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies, and equipment cases
• Solder cable assemblies and connectors,
• Carry out mechanical assembly
• Test and configure electrical equipment
• Monitor stock levels of critical components and parts
• Support production with bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

Required Experience:

• At least 1 years experience in soldering and crimping
• Fine soldering experience would be advantageous
• Basic IT proficiency (MS Excel/Word)
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ideally, knowledge of electromechanical tools
• A methodical, fast-paced work ethic
• Initiative and strong communication skills

Additional Info:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Salary: -(phone number removed) per annum DOE
• Start Date: ASAP
