You will be based within a Year 4 class, providing whole-class support alongside additional SEN support for individual pupils.The role will include supporting a pupil with SEMH needs, as well as assisting another member of staff with the personal care needs of a child in the class.The RoleProvide whole-class support within a Year 4 classroomSupport a pupil with SEMH and emotional regulation needsProvide 1:1 and small group support where requiredAssist another member of staff with a pupil''s personal careDeliver targeted interventions and support learning activitiesPromote positive behaviour, engagement and independenceWork closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teamThe Ideal CandidatePrevious Teaching Assistant experience within a primary schoolExperience supporting pupils with SEN and/or SEMHComfortable supporting with personal care alongside another member of staffConfident providing whole-class, small group and 1:1 supportCalm, patient and nurturing approachLevel 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirableStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbout the SchoolOfsted rated ''Good'' primary school in Northfield, B31Two-form entry with a ..... full job details .....
