Client Manager Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Working Arrangements: Hybrid and flexible working Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience Role Overview An established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Client Manager to manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses. The role combines accounts preparation, tax compliance, management accounts, business advisory work and team supervision. Main Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders. Prepare and review year-end accounts, business tax computations and tax returns. Prepare Self Assessment returns and Capital Gains Tax computations. Assist with RandD tax claims and tax-planning opportunities. Manage and review bookkeeping, VAT and management accounting services. Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets, cash-flow projections and performance reports. Advise clients on profitability, efficiency, financial controls and business processes. Build strong relationships and act as a key point of contact for clients. Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Attend client meetings alongside senior managers or directors. Supervise, review and support the development of junior team members. Train colleagues and clients in the use of Xero and other cloud-accounting applications. Assist with billing, work in progress, workflow planning and credit control.
