Goods In Warehouse Operative required to work for our client in Abingdon Oxfordshire.

Our client is looking for a reliable and methodical individual to join their team at a warehouse in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Salary: -30,000 Per Annum

Job details: Permanent

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00-1730 (30 minutes for lunch)

Start date: ASAP

About the role:

As the Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Book in shipments from
• Check & log in 3rd party motors
• Be responsible for putting away all deliveries from suppliers, with support from the warehouse team
• Check stock locations and update SAP as needed
• Assist in running perpetual inventory counting system
• Unload supplier deliveries, validate suppliers delivery and raise goods received note
• checking that parts are in their proper location and stored in line with company guidelines
• Load shipments to customers onto lorries
• Assist Warehouse staff Picking components for Assembly team to build
• Assist Packing goods ready for despatch, including labelling
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness/tidiness of the warehouse
• Any other reasonable task as requested by the Operations Manager, or Managing Director, for the fulfilment of the job and according to the needs of the business
• Actively follow policies and will maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations

About you as the Warehouse Operative:

• Will be reliable
• Reach Fork Lift Truck licence
• Have attention to detail
• Professional attitude and understand that you will have a high responsibility
• Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Ideally have a Full UK Driving License
