Maintenance Engineer

Stonehouse, commutable from Gloucester, Cirencester, Dursley, Cheltenham and surrounding areas,

-35,000 - -45,000 + Monday to Friday, 39hrs + On Call Allowance (-2,0005,000) + 25 days holiday + up to 10% Pension + Life Assurance + Sick Pay + Early Finish Friday (7:30am-12:30pm) + Progression + Training

Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an international company which will offer a days based role, outstanding package and training to develop yourself as an engineer.

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in sub-contract manufacturing processes. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help with their expansion and join their close-knit team at their Newport site by offering a generous package as well the opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves within the business.

The core responsibilities of this role will be the maintenance of production machinery across the site as well as reporting to the Engineer about projects, problems and health and safety issues.

The right candidate will have previous experience with hands on electrical and mechanical Maintenance Engineering from a manufacturing background.

The role:
*Carry out maintenance tasks across the site
*Logging non-conformances, faults and errors
*Report to the Engineering manager for work
*Monday - Friday (Mon-Thu: 7:30 - 16:30 & Fri: 7:30 - 12:30)

The person:
*Electrical and Mechanical maintenance background
*Manufacturing background
*Knowledge of Health and Safety practices
