Financial Controller (PT Job Share)
Location: Central London (1 day in office per week max)
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (Mon - Wed, this is a job share and there is no flex on these days)
Salary: -65,000 - -75,000 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role:
As the Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the financial strategy, ensuring the organisation thrives while delivering exceptional care. This hands-on position involves managing the day-to-day finance operations, leading a talented finance team, and collaborating with the wider leadership team to drive growth and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the finance department
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including monthly management accounts and balance sheets
- Produce weekly and monthly financial management information and KPI reports
- Monitor budgets to ensure cost efficiency without compromising care quality
- Develop strategies for improving financial performance and identifying cost savings
- Manage accounts payable, purchase orders, and payment runs
- Ensure prompt invoicing and management of debtor days
- Oversee payroll processes and expense management
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Provide accurate cash flow forecasts
- Mentor and support the finance team to encourage growth and excellence
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial strategies and performance
- Manage year-end processes and liaise with external auditors for seamless audits
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership
What We''re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within health or social care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related fields (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in financial software (Xero, Pleo) and MS Office
