PE Learning Mentor TLTP are recruiting for a behaviour mentor who has a background teaching PE, mentoring students and dealing with challenging behaviour. This role will involve working with a students who can display quite challenging behaviour and for this reason we are looking for experienced candidates. This is a specialist school based in Newham are looking for a special needs Learning mentor with experience of working with challenging children and young people. This is a specialist SEN school that caters for young people including excluded students, ASD and complex SEMH behaviours. Learning Mentors will have the opportunity to work in this outstanding school with an excellent reputation in special education expertise, curriculum and resources. Learning mentors must have experience working with mental health problems and complex SEN needs. This school believes that all young people should be provided with appropriate education in a safe, stable, containing learning environment. Special needs Learning mentors are given opportunities to succeed through the use of highly personalised individual education plans to help support their students.
