Merton College are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation lecturer to deliver outstanding quality in teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skills development. Acting as a Course Leader and Academic Tutor, you ll create and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment and deliver teaching and assessment activities within own area of specialism including lectures, setting/marking coursework, practical s, and field work to undergraduates and postgraduates. We d like you to hold a teaching qualification (or working towards), be qualified to a minimum of L3 in Electrical Installation and have recent teaching experience in Electrical Installation in an FE College, School or private provider. You ll have experience of teaching on Electrical Installation courses such as CandG 7202-01, 2365-02, 2365-03, 8202-30, EAL Electrotechnical and T levels and teaching or a working knowledge of Green Skills technologies (Solar/PV, EV Chargers, Air Source Heat Pumps and Retrofit) and of delivering Electrical Inspection and Testing 2391/51 and 2391/52 and the 18th Edition BS7671: 2018.
