Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Caerphilly

Academics are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities for experienced Teaching Assistants looking for full-time, long-term work, as well as those wanting flexible supply work.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Caerphilly, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils across the classroom with their learning and development
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate
• Helping create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and day-to-day routines
• Encouraging pupils'' confidence, independence and engagement
• Following safeguarding and school policies at all times

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - essential
• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Reliable and committed to supporting pupils'' learning
• Availability for full-time or regular work

• Enhanced DBS - required
• EWC registration - required
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant safeguarding/compliance checks

• Competitive pay from -95 per day, with rates potentially increasing depending on the school, qualifications and experience
