Plant Coordinator

Job Title: Plant Coordinator Department: Internal Site Delivery Team Location: Birmingham Salary: 30,000 Contract Type: PermanentRole Purpose The Plant Coordinator will play a key role in the smooth coordination and delivery of plant and equipment across various projects. This role requires an individual who can manage day-to-day plant requests, ensure timely delivery and off-hire processes, and maintain accurate plant records while liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate plant and equipment requests in line with project requirements and site programmesAct as the key point of contact between site teams, the internal commercial and planning departments, and external suppliersMonitor and manage plant movements, ensuring optimal utilisation and cost-efficiencyMaintain accurate and up-to-date hire logs, delivery/collection records, and reporting systemsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards related to plant operationsAssist in managing disputes or discrepancies relating to plant hire charges and equipment usageSupport commercial teams with cost tracking and plant-related invoicing queriesAbout You EssentialStrong numerical, organisational and analytical skillsExcellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skillsIT literate with proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Experience in plant control, hire desk operations, or working within a plant hire ..... full job details .....
