SEND Teacher - September 2025 Hillingdon, North West London Permanent ASAP MLD, SLD, SEMH EYFS - KS5 We are currently recruiting a highly motivated and resilient SEND Teacher to join a well-established SEND school based in Hillingdon. The school caters for children with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The teacher will lead a class of 8-12 students, with most pupils receiving 1:1 support, meaning there is a lot of support staff in the class. Responsibilities: Leading a class of 8-12 students with SEND Creating and delivering an exciting and differentiated curriculum that caters to the needs of each individual student Regularly reviewing student progress Collaborating with other teachers and professionals to ensure each student receives the best possible education and support Ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive learning environment Implementing positive behavior management strategies Keeping up to date with relevant training and CPD Essential Criteria: Relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching children with SEND Resilient and capable of managing challenging behavior Passionate about working with SEND students Good sense of humor Work well in a team Experience in MLD/SLD/SEMH Experience in leading a class Experience in behavior management strategies Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorders Working at our school: State-of-the-art facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, ..... full job details .....
