Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk based in Smethwick. The role involves processing invoices and supplier payments, maintaining finance records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting payroll administration.Key Responsibilities:Process invoices, expenses, and supplier payments accurately and on timePerform supplier statement and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepanciesMaintain time and attendance recordsMonitor AP inbox and resolve vendor queriesCollaborate with internal departments to ensure timely paymentsAssist with payroll preparation, processing, and reportingUse Excel to analyse financial data, track payments, and support reportingAdhere to internal policies and compliance requirementsRequirements:GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent in Maths and EnglishKnowledge of accounts payable principles, reconciliations, and payroll administrationStrong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skillsStrong Excel skills (e.g. formulas, data handling, and reporting)Experience in high-volume accounts payable environmentsExperience with SAP; Winshuttle and payroll experience advantageousSkills and Attributes:Team player with strong communication skillsAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesService-oriented approach with internal and external stakeholdersProactive, positive attitude with ownership of tasksDetails:Pay: 12.82 - 13.84 per hour, depending on experienceHours: 08:30 - 16:30 Monday - ..... full job details .....
