Assistant Store Manager
About the RoleOur client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sales and people management experience who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and driving business performance.You will work closely with the Store Manager, taking ownership of key areas of the business and stepping up to lead the store in their absence.Key Responsibilities:Drive sales performance by maximising opportunities and converting enquiriesSupport customers in making informed decisions through a consultative approachDeliver exceptional customer service, resolving queries and complaints professionallySupport, coach and motivate team members to achieve individual and store targetsOrganise staff rotas, delegate tasks, and assist with performance managementProvide training and ongoing development to enhance team capabilityTake full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store ManagerSupport the delivery of revenue and growth targetsMaintain high operational standards across all areas of the storeEnsure all company systems, policies and procedures are followedAssist in creating and implementing local marketing plansBuild relationships within the local community to promote the businessMaintain a safe, clean, and well-presented store environmentEnsure health and safety standards are consistently metParticipate in charity initiatives, with ..... full job details .....
