Applications are invited for a Consultant in Gynaecology (Benign) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH).This post is designed to provide high-quality clinical care to patients presenting with problems relating to Reproductive Medicine and out-patient Gynaecology, as part of a team of Consultants. The key role of this post is the provision and development of the out-patient Gynaecology Service and Paediatric Adolescent Gynaecology Service. The aim is to provide a high quality one stop ambulatory gynaecology service and to lead the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Service.Responsibilities
You will be involved in the provision and development of the out-patient Gynaecology Service and the Paediatric Adolescent Gynaecology Service, delivering a high quality one stop ambulatory gynaecology service and leading the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Service as part of a Consultant team.Qualifications and Requirements
The successful applicant must:Be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and ideally have a CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.Be able to work full time or consider part-time/job-share arrangements as applicable.Demonstrate English language proficiency (listening, reading, writing, speaking) to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
