SEND Tutor - Runcorn

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support across Runcorn!

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced tutors, teachers and mentors to work with young people who require additional support with their education.

The successful candidate will provide personalised sessions, adapting their approach to the learner''s individual needs and helping them make positive academic and personal progress.

Experience working with SEND is essential, and the ability to build trust and rapport with learners is particularly important.

Position Details:

Location: Runcorn
Position: SEND Tutor
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
QTS or equivalent desirable
Patient, understanding and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
