Senior Software Engineer
Up to andpound;65,000 | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)

Weandrsquo;re working with a private equity-backed tech business in Manchester that''s quietly disrupting a high-value consumer space. With over 300 employees and an in-house engineering team building an end-to-end digital journey, they''re scaling up to tackle industry-wide pain points with cloud-native solutions and a data-led approach.

This is an opportunity to work on a modern platform combining real-time decisioning, third-party integrations, and automation andmdash; all aimed at simplifying a process that traditionally takes days, into minutes. The engineering culture encourages autonomy, experimentation, and continuous deployment.

What youandrsquo;ll be doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET microservices and APIs
• Building scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Championing best practices, clean code, and SOLID principles
• Collaborating with frontend developers (React), DevOps, and product teams
• Helping shape the technical direction and mentoring others

What weandrsquo;re looking for:

• 5 years experience with C#/.NET
• Solid understanding of AWS (or similar cloud platform) and DevOps principles
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, containerisation, and IaC (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Bonus: React/JavaScript exposure, experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana)
