Senior Warehouse Operative

Chesterfield, Derbyshire | Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £32,000–£34,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative to join a fast-growing UK manufacturer operating within a modern production environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, checked, and dispatched accurately and on time. Working closely with production and logistics teams, you'll help maintain high standards of quality, stock control, and warehouse efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Receive goods and ensure stock is accurately booked into the system.
• Carry out quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control.
• Supply materials to production as required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse process development.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
• Experience using warehouse systems and paperwork accurately.
• Forklift/Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential.
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• £32,000–£34,000 salary depending on experience.

• Monday: 6:00am – 3:30pm
• Tuesday to Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Afternoon shift available: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
