We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Scunthorpe.This is a rewarding role supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all learners.The RoleAs a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:Supervise pupils during lunch times, including in the dining hall, playground, or classroomsSupport pupils with a range of SEN, including communication, social, and behavioural needsEncourage positive behaviour and social interactionAssist with basic care needs where appropriateEnsure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils at all timesThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Is patient, calm, and compassionateHas experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential)Can work well as part of a team and follow school policiesIs reliable and able to commit to the set lunchtime hoursFull training and support will be provided.SafeguardingOur school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
