HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

Location: Robertsbridge, East Sussex
Pay Rate: -17.05 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts, averaging 10-12 hour shifts, NO weekends
Contract: Ongoing full-time opportunity, or ad-hoc and flexible shifts to fit around your availability

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

This role is ideal for an experienced Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, HGV Driver, Trunking Driver, or General Haulage Driver looking for stable, long-term work.

HGV Class 1 Driver Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
  
  
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
  
  
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points
  
  
• Representing the business professionally at customer sites
  
  

-HGV Class 1 Driver-Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 / Category CE / C+E Licence
  
  
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
  
  
• Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
• Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, LGV Driver, CE Driver, or Category CE Driver
  
  
• Good understanding of transport legislation and road safety regulations
  
  
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
  
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills
