This role is ideal for someone with previous people management experience, not limited to sales, who thrives on team development and driving results.

This is a full-time, permanent position, covering 40 hours over 5 days. The Contact Centre is open Monday to Sunday and is based on-site in Braintree.

What they offer:

  • £31,500 basic starting salary, with a quarterly bonus

  • 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays), with extra days when you stick with us

  • Access to our employee assistance programme – a 24-hour confidential helpline

  • Access to a staff benefits platform, including a Cycle-to-Work scheme and discounts at high street brands and supermarkets

  • Free on-site parking and yearly flu jabs

  • 25% employee discount

What are your responsibilities?

As a Team Leader, you’ll be leading by example – coaching your team, running team meetings, and ensuring excellent customer outcomes. The Team Leader will be responsible for handling escalated queries and supporting the team to work efficiently and compliantly. You’ll monitor performance and KPIs, provide feedback and guidance, and identify areas for individual and team improvement.

The Team Leader will also be responsible for general line management duties, including logging sickness, absence and lateness, holding 1-to-1 meetings, and recognising high performance. You’ll play a key part in ensuring that the team remains motivated, well-informed, and supported in their daily work.

You’ll also support operational delivery by working closely with other leaders and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes. This role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on, is confident in team development, and can respond quickly to challenges across a fast-paced team environment.

We’re looking for a confident Team Leader with:

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or people management role – this could be within sales, customer service, or another high-volume office-based environment

  • A passion for coaching, team development, and creating a positive working culture

  • Ability to manage workloads, monitor KPIs, and address performance constructively

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle escalated queries effectively

  • GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English & Mathematics
