Quality Control Inspector Nr Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Competitive Salary Our client are an engineering manufacturer in the North East is looking to appoint an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role within a busy fabrication and manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet customer specifications, internal quality standards, and industry compliance requirements. You will play a key part in maintaining quality standards across the production lifecycle, working closely with shopfloor teams, management, suppliers and client representatives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and record inspections on incoming materials, in-process work and final productsPerform internal QMS and product-specific auditsCoordinate inspections with customers and third-party inspectorsReview and issue work instructions to meet contract and internal standardsRaise and manage NCRs, concessions and material certification documentationLead and support Root Cause Analysis investigations into quality issues and warranty claimsDrive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain and monitor the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 environment)Manage the calibration system, including internal and external calibration coordinationCompile quality data dossiers and support KPI reportingLiaise directly with suppliers and customer representatives on quality mattersPromote safe working practices and challenge unsafe behaviours Essential: Experience ..... full job details .....
