Quality Manager

A Global fast-paced manufacturing company are looking for a Quality Manager to join the team at their impressive site in the Greater London area, Enfield
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, adaptable and personable Quality Manager with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a busy environment and reporting into the Senior QESH Manager, you will have strong evidence of managing a Quality team in a similar facility. This is a fantastic opportunity with a global company who offer fantastic progression possibilities
The Quality department is currently operating on a straight days shift pattern, on a 37.5 hour work week, five days in the office
Role: Quality Manager
Location: Greater London, Enfield
Salary: £60,000 - £67,000
Working Hours: 37.5 per week
Benefits: 8% Company dependent bonus, up to 12% employer pension contribution, medical scheme
The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager role will be:
- As a key member of the on-site QESH team, you’ll lead the implementation of Quality Standards and Food Safety policies in partnership with Production teams. Your focus will be on ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and the company’s Code of Practice
- Reporting to the QESH Senior Manager, you’ll also contribute to a wider European Quality network, playing a vital role in driving system improvements, rolling out key initiatives, and sharing best practices across multiple regions
- Success in this role hinges on strong leadership, team development, and active engagement with your team—which includes Quality Assurance Leads, QA Coordinators, and Laboratory Analysts.
- Looking after a Quality team of seven, communicating clearly with the shop-floor, having a hands-on approach
- Working within food or beverage manufacturing environments
- Overseeing compliance with legislation and risk management protocols
- Handling consumer and customer complaints effectively
- Leading teams responsible for quality testing and analytical processes
- A hands-on approach, clear communication skills
- Previous Quality and team management experience essential
- A graduate with Chemistry/Food related qualifications is preferred
