As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the West Central Belt.In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring the successful delivery of private housing developments to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities Cost Management: Develop and oversee budgets, cost plans, and forecasts. Monitor expenditures and report on financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Tendering and Procurement: Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and manage procurement processes to ensure value for money and compliance. Contract Administration: Draft and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with terms and conditions and maintaining documentation throughout. Valuations and Payments: Conduct site visits, prepare interim valuations, manage variations, and process subcontractor and supplier payments. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, contractual, and operational risks. Cost Reporting: Produce detailed financial reports and present actionable insights to senior management. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
