At least three years’ experience as a practising solicitor2. Good working knowledge of the SRA Standards and Regulations (including the SRA Accounts Rules) and the OISC Code of Standards3. Good working knowledge of the relevant quality standard (SQM)4. Interest in, and commitment to, the aims of the charity5. High levels of initiative and motivation6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills7. Ability to work both independently and within a team8. Ability to manage assigned tasks in an efficient, detail-orientated and timely manner9. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and empathy1. Experience in immigration, welfare benefits or employment law, particularly as a Legal Aid Supervisor2. Proven track record of effective staff management and supervision3. Experience in charity management, particularly in the specialist legal advice sector4.
