The Role You will play a key role in managing office and client account transactions, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Key responsibilities include:Processing inbound payments for office and client accountsPosting transactions to client ledgers using the practice management systemIssuing bills, cheques and processing BACS paymentsBank reconciliations, VAT returns, bookkeeping and month-end reportingManaging payment exceptions and liaising with finance and legal teamsMaintaining accurate electronic filing of transactional documentationManaging the Cashiers team mailbox and supporting wider finance dutiesApplying delegated discretion in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirementsSkills and ExperienceProven experience in a legal cashier or legal account s roleStrong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)Experience with legal accounting and electronic banking systemsIT literate with good MS Excel and MS Word skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbout You This is a responsible role suited to a self-motivated individual who can work independently using their own initiative.
