Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, control, and dispatch of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Within a precision engineering environment, this role is critical to maintaining accurate stock control, production continuity, and customer delivery performance. The position also has responsibility for coordinating company transport activities, including organising drivers, and managing deliveries and collections to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of materials. A hands-on approach is essential to support daily warehouse activities. Key Roles and Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Management Supervise daily warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch Support operational activities directly when required, including operating counterbalance forklift trucks Ensure efficient material flow between warehouse and production areas Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment Optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve productivity and space utilisation Inventory Control and Accuracy Maintain accurate stock records within the ERP system Oversee cycle counting and full stock take processes Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and escalate risks Goods Inwards and Materials Management Manage the receipt ..... full job details .....
