Duties for the role of Architectural Technician:

• Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
• Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
• Liaise with clients, consultants and external team members
• Carry out site visits to ensure technical compliance and high quality is achieved

Skills and experience for the role of Architectural Technician:

• BSc within Architectural Technology
• Strong post qualification experience as a Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit and Sketchup
• Experience managing projects within the leisure and education sectors
• Job running experience is essential
• Excellent technical and drawing skills
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Loughborough area
