We are currently seeking a Transport Supervisor to join our team at our customer site in Magor. This position will lead the day-to-day operations on behalf of the Operations Manager and involve all aspects of transport administration processes and coordination of the daily running of this busy contract, working alongside our customer. Key Responsibilities:Work on behalf of the Operations Manager with our customer to plan daily routes, optimising our UK-wide tramping fleet of drivers to ensure service and delivery meet customer expectations.Plan periodic maintenance inspections, ensuring the vehicle fleet remains compliant and legal concerning delivery planning requirements.Provide leadership on day-to-day transport issues, including dispatch, debrief, and work in progress with drivers.Collaborate closely with our customer to ensure smooth operation.Manage drivers daily, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards across ..... full job details .....
