We re looking for an experienced MandE QS to join an International MandE Contractor, specialising in Infrastructure Projects in the Rail , Highways, Water and Energy sectors. You will be based on regional project sites and the company project offices in Plymouth . Your remit is to ensure MandE Project Packages are running in accordance with the budgeted forecast, and to maximise profit through robust cost control and the optimisation of variations to Project Works. The role may require you to work on a singular major project or number of smaller projects within a framework. Successful candidates will have worked as a Quantity Surveyor on large UK Based MandE Construction or Refurbishment Projects and will have a working understanding of valuation techniques of construction works including elemental cost analysis of items such as labour, materials, plant, subcontract, and general expenses. NEC and JCT Contract experience would also be desired.
