Debbie Burbage Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established business located in Milton Keynes who are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join their busy team

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the daily responsibilities will include updating ledgers, allocating payments, raising statements and setting up new accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance debt recovery procedures for overdue accounts, escalating to legal action where required.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Process incoming payments and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Review, assess and approve customer applications.
• Prepare and issue customer quotations.
• Liaise with customers regarding work schedules and planned activities.
• Handle, investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.

Candidate

We are looking for someone who holds experience within credit control/similar role or a Finance and Accounting Graduate or AAT studier who has worked in an office environment who is keen to learn new skills, comfortable taking ownership of duties and manage customer relationships

You will be organised have a confident and professional manner who can liaise with both colleagues and customers. Can be calm under pressure, reliable, good attention to detail, adaptable and be able to work in a team and work to deadlines.

Previous experience of SAP together with good Excel skills would be desirable.

• Salary: -26,000 per annum
• Hours: 8.30-5.00 (1 hour lunch)
• Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
