Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer A growing building services design team is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support ongoing project demand. This role suits someone confident in delivering coordinated electrical designs across a range of project types while maintaining strong technical standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct site surveys, testing and reporting on existing electrical installations Attend and contribute to technical meetings with multidisciplinary project teams Carry out engineering calculations using relevant software such as Amtech, Pro-Design or similar Prepare tender documentation, technical specifications and associated drawings Support and oversee the technical output of junior team members including trainees, graduates and engineers Core Skills and Competencies Proficient in producing detailed design specifications and drawings across multiple building sectors Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications Good understanding of relevant British Standards and industry regulations Able to manage and prioritise workloads effectively Capable of working to tight deadlines while maintaining high technical accuracy Background and Qualifications Essential: HNC/ONC/BTEC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent Solid technical grounding in building services electrical design Demonstrable experience working on a variety of systems and project environments Desirable: Degree in Electrical ..... full job details .....
