As Engineering Manager, you''ll take ownership of the maintenance function at a busy processing facility, leading a team of engineers and driving reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of maintenance engineers
• Drive a proactive preventative maintenance culture
• Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Manage engineering budgets and maintenance expenditure
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with statutory inspections and Health & Safety regulations
• Manage engineering stores and critical spare parts
• Support equipment upgrades, capital projects and new installations
• Manage external contractors and suppliers
• Improve plant reliability, efficiency and overall site performance

About You

You''ll ideally have experience as an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Reliability Manager or similar within a manufacturing, recycling, production, process, or heavy industrial environment.

You will also possess:

• Strong engineering leadership experience
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding and diagnostics
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and KPIs
• Familiarity with CMMS/Maintenance Management Systems
• Excellent communication and people-management skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
