Building Surveyor (Chartered) - Cheltenham - c£60k Working for a well respected consultancy, you will join an established team based in Cheltenham. Projects include large residential, industrial, commercial and educational schemes with contract values over £30 million to much smaller schemes across a variety of project management and core Building Surveying roles. You will carry out the following duties: Provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of residential, commercial properties and educational facilitiesCarry out building and condition surveysProvide advice on buildings ensuring they conform to the latest building regulations and technical standardsTaking particulars on site, writing up specifications, obtaining tenders, planning maintenance programmes and administering contracts for maintenance workAnalyse and report on building defectsHandling claims and negotiations with loss adjusters leading to the preparation of drawings and specifications for remedial work for insurance purposesPrepare schedules of dilapidationsUndertake the role of quality monitor on various schemes including housing schemesLead and manage teams preparing designs for extensions, refurbishment schemes and new build developments ranging from £50k to £4mNotices, Schedules of Condition and Awards for Party Wall matters You will have the following MRICSConsultancy experienceCapable of managing individual team members, organising their work where ..... full job details .....
