Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery
• Support Plc controls, automated lines and robot cells
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults quickly and safely
• Minimise downtime through proactive problem solving and efficient repairs
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure optimal uptime
• Robot Technology – Experience Essential

To be successful, you must have hands on experience of supporting industrial robots in a maintenance capacity.

Familiarity with one or more of the following robot brands is essential:

• ABB
• Comau
• Fanuc
• Kawasaki
• KUKA
• Yaskawa / Motoman
• Universal Robots 

Candidates will be expected to assist in robot fault finding, recovery and basic programming or path adjustment as part of their role.

What We’re Looking For

• Apprentice trained Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Engineer, or similar
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or automated process plant environments
• Electrical/mechanical fault finding skills – ideally multi skilled
• Exposure to Plc controls (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley)
• Solid understanding of robotic automation systems
• A proactive, hands on engineer who takes pride in solving problems fast.
