Hales Group is happy to be working with their client to assist them in finding a Site Technician/Plant Operator. This company is one of the leaders in the renewable energy market as a significant contributor to the production of biomass energy for the home market. Job Purpose Assisting the Production Team Leader in the safe and efficient running of the plant, you will undertake technical and operational duties, which include plant monitoring and maintenance to ensure maximum plant availability and performance. To be successful in this role, ideally you will have experience within the energy sector, however they will be open to discussions from candidates with a plant/production background and have some experience with mechanical and/or electrical knowledge; along with fault finding capabilities. This role is based on a shift pattern to cover a 24-hour operation. Salary and Hours Starting from £32,000 per annum but may be negotiable for the right skills. Carry out ''frontline'' maintenance activities in accordance with the approved processes and procedures. Investigate plant problems and identify solutions.
