Salary: -105115 per day, depending on experience
Hours: 8:45am-3:15pm
Contract: Long-term
Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND and ASD at a welcoming school in Esher.
This is a long-term position starting in September 2026, with interviews taking place asap. Ideally, we would like potential candidates to have DBS''s in place, if not, we can help accomidate a DBS for you.
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will join a friendly and professional team within a school that values inclusion, diversity and providing the best opportunities for every child.
Teaching Assistant - Requirements
Experience supporting children with ASD/SEND is highly desirable.
Recent experience working with children in a primary school setting would be an advantage.
A patient, empathetic and nurturing approach to supporting children.
The ability to develop positive, trusting and caring relationships with pupils.
Good organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of a dedicated team.
A positive attitude and commitment to supporting the wider school community.

Job Requirements
Legal right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS disclosure, or overseas police clearance where applicable.
Primary education experience is desirable.
A valid DBS is preferred, but Empowering Learning can assist with processing one if required.
