Assistant Project Manager London 375 per day We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a fast-paced rail infrastructure programme.The role will involve managing work packages and contractors across a range of infrastructure projects, supporting the resolution of issues and defects across stations and operational assets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.Key ResponsibilitiesManage assigned project work packages and contractor activities.Support the delivery of multiple infrastructure workstreams.Monitor progress, risks, issues, budgets and programme performance.Produce project reports and support governance requirements.Manage and coordinate contractors and service providers.Support procurement and commercial activities where required.Identify emerging issues and provide recommendations to the Project Manager.Build strong relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners.Ensure work is delivered in line with relevant safety, quality and project standards.Support delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar project delivery role.Strong rail or infrastructure project experience - essential.Experience managing contractors and delivering work packages.Experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary project environments.Strong understanding of project governance, reporting and ..... full job details .....
