The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bicester area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am start-

Pay Rates: -16.36 per hour PAYE with overtime at -24.52 after 40 hours.-

Location:-Bicester, OX26 6GF

Start Date: 03.08.2026-

Job Type: Temp until end of August-

The role:

- Collect parcels from well-known customers, including full trailer collections and deliveries - Up to 7 per day-

- Manual handling is heavily involved, and drivers will assist with loading and unloading of parcels at the depot and customer locations.-

. Handling devices and company software to update delivery status and communicating with the depot.-

- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.

- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

. 12 months experience required

- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

- Full understanding of WTD legislation.

- Excellent communication skills.

- A safety-first mindset.
